RIP Steve Sabol, you were the greatest sports film maker to ever live and one of my artistic influences growing up. It’s interesting to think about creative influence, how it mostly does not lie in the world of “ART” it resides in places we don’t appreciate till it has left us or we have enough perspective to appreciate its genius.
